“Infinite Light is the nom de guitarre of London resident Barry Dean, also known as the head honcho of the wonderful Lotus Tapes imprint. A former member of Stuckometer, Horse Hair and Beach Fuzz, he has also recently performed as a duo with Vibracathedral’s Michael Flower, releasing a 7″ with the latter in 2010 upon which Magik Markers’ own Pete Nolan can be heard providing trademark machine gun drums. A guitar player of extraordinary dexterity, Infinite Light picks with all four fingers and thumb, forging a maniacal fuzz-wash of free-rocking ragas, all the while punctuating the performance with wild, confrontational falsetto vocals, which catch audience members off-guard and demand their attention. He also employs tapes and occasional percussion to widen the spectrum of what is already a huge expanse of melodious cacophony.”

“Infinite Light offer a live recording that sounds like there was wax melting all over the place – frothy, vocal-tinged lung water. Hold the bong.”
